VA to BK
VA, We're BACK!!! This week long excursion has entailed 2 youth workshops on learning and developing writing skills in the classroom using Hip Hop. Both sessions were held in Dinwiddie Middle School.
Following our second session, we moved on to Dinwiddie Jr. High school and performed for over 100 students, faculty, and parents. We brought the house DOWN! Shout out to the step team and two young MC's that shared the stage with us. Follow your dreams, and keeping reaching for sky and beyond.
Our last stop on the road is Portsmouth, VA where we'll be doing our last workshop at the middle school, and then... We head to BK for our show at the Gowanus Ballroomon Saturday!!!

Armory Garden
The Armory Garden has been started with the assistance of The Readnex Poetry Squad, Urban Farmers League, Ground Works, The Armory Unity Center and Newburgh Food and Farm.100 people showed up throughout the day. Mainly YOUTH.
