Last week we spent 3 Days in West, NY facilitating After School Workshops on Expression, Hip Hop & Poetry. We were located in Elmira & Addison most of the time and one of the locations was Ernie Davis Middle School. If you don't know about Ernie Davis then check out the movie The Express. He was the first African American to win a Heisman trophy and stood up to the ills of both concious and unconcious racism.
