On our way Home...
We're on a plane now (our second one today) leaving from Seattle and headed to Chicago. From there...on to the NY. Our time in Alaska was a blessed & amazing experience. There we encountered a land fertile with life. People that greeted us with open arms allowing us into their homes and hearts. Youth that dared to Be Dif'Rent and happy to hear that not only are they important...they matter in this world. What we do is merely believe. We believe in the power of unity, voice & love. We set out to have fun and end up empowering. We mean to educate & end up granting others the gift of catharsis. We intended to see Alaska for a week...we ended up feeling for what now seems like years.
Thank you to all the beautiful brothers & sisters we encountered. From the 120 elementary school students, the beautiful couch surfer that opened up her home to us, the strong and gentle man that worked with the powerhouse of love filled woman to bring us up, the staff of all the schools we worked with, the poet that opened up his mind, the DJ that put us on, the students that opened their ears and all of the beautiful people we encountered in Alaska.
Be blessed Alaska...and thank you for the knowledge!

It was Saturday Night!!!
It was a night filled with expression, calls for change and music. The Brecht Forum in NYC was filled with love and we thank everyone for bringing it. The multi-genre jam session (Folk, Rock, Latin, Spoken Word & Hip Hop) afterwards made it a night to remember. Its a Dissident Arts Festival tradition so make sure to be there next year as well.
Afterwards we partied out with DJ Chela, Majesty, North (of Division X) Kahlil Almustafa, Baron (of Red Clay) and many more for Vanissa W. Chan's bday party (DJ Chela's bday among others was also celebrated). Big up to everyone who attended and thanks for the good times. Oh and the off the chain cypher we had outside as well. You know Emcees...we always gotta show our skills.
