NEEEEEWWW YOOOOOORRRK...Back in it that is
We are back in NY!!!! London we miss you already! I smell a return trip coming SOOOOON! This was a very fulfilling experience that I'll never forget. The shows were coming in back to back. We rocked the stage at the Green Fair Festival, which was centered around being more energy efficient and creating a health environment for our future generation. Next, i had locked the night club scene down. The first spot was Miss Q's, where we met Dj Ricardo! A great local dj. We had the crowd going that night. Amazing!

Just Days Left in London!
Only a couple of days LEFT!!!!
There has been so much going on here London its hard to remember what day THIS happen, what day THAT happen, but I will try my best to put the puzzle together for you. So, let's start where we left off. After Irving's Poetry in Motion event over at the Grace Bar, the next show was in Brixton! We arrived at Organic & Instant where we met our good long time friend Mandisa. The show was interesting...for me at least. I've never done a show where we actually performed in the studio with a crowd that was standing outside the STUDIO! An ingenious concept! While there we rocked with the house band that added some of their own ingredients & flavor to our tracks. The event was hosted by the Master of Ceremonies "Bigga." On a sad note, I didn't get a chance to drink some of Mandisa's famous Rum Punch, which reminds me that I need her to make some before I leave here.
INDIGO BROWN!!!! The last time I saw them was at our
"Social ISsUes" album release party at the Nuyorican. My Soul Sista's came through and we got to catch up at the show as well. Laughs, Jokes, flashbacks, were shared and new memories where taking form. It was a beautiful night with family & friends. Shout out to the entire crew, Alice, Andrew, Bo, & Bigga, who recorded & interviewed us. While we've been out here we've had some spare time to check out the city, and do the whole tourist thing... Our way. Which, I must say, London is taking the number one position for top places I've visited...for now. But man, its going to be a tough one to beat. I've been like a sponge just soaking it all in. I couldn't be happier with our trip. To be continued...

In London!!!
"Just touch down in London Town!"
We've been in London for 3 days now and already it feels like home. This is my first time in London and I must say... it is a beautiful city! The food, the people, the culture... speechless. We are truly blessed to be on this earth. (sihhhh) We had our first show at Street Fest , which was sponsored by ADIDAS, over in the Shortage area. There, we had Graffiti Artists, B-Boys, B-Girls, MC's, DJ's, Beat Boxers, Music, Love, Food, Positive Energy, and a dope sound system... what more could you ask for? We met Reeps One (Ill Beat Boxer), Andrew (from Monorex) & Ghost Poet. We rocked a 10 minute set and the 500+ crowd went CRAZY!!
That same day, we headed to Grace Bar for "Poetry in Motion" night. We had the pleasure of meeting some very talented UK artist that evening, such as "Winta", "Sebastian", & Floetic Laura! Brilliant! (w/ London ascent lol). The energy in the venue was so warm, so profound, and filled with love. An amazing night, needless to say. To be continued...
